This is the birth of a production for fans of such hard content. “Sokihei M.D. Geist” depicts the hard violence and action of the everyday battles of one man who finds purpose only in combat. Production planning is by the well-known Hiromedia and film production is by Production Wave. Koichi Ohata, of mechanical design for “Galvion”, is in charge of the original concept and mechanical design here. Character design is by Tsuneo Ninomiya of “Hurricane Polymer” and “Tekkaman”. Hayato Ikeda directs. 


A brief outline of the story: Planet Jerra - A lone man is imprisoned in an artificial satellite orbiting this planet. The Armoured Demon Soldier M.D. Geist… He alone as one man is said to have possessed the fighting power of an entire army. That satellite falls to the surface in an accident, he returns to wartime Jerra, and he is recruited to the land battleship, the Noah Guards. Ship captain Colonel Crutes needed him to terminate the planetary extermination system. Equipped in a battle suit, Geist rushes into the heart of the system.

Sōkihei M.D. Geist Film Comics

"Film Comics" were short-length print versions of OVAs that provided truncated summaries and stories of the titles they were tied in with, they featured stills from the original animation which were arranged in a semi-comic book style, but with narrational text instead of speech bubbles. STORY Several hundred years have passed since the end of the Christian Era. Humanity has advanced into space, to the multitude of star systems, by dominating planets through the power of their civilisation. A special preview article of Sōkihei M.D. Geist was made the cover feature of the debut issue of Globian, and it includes a brief interview with Hironobu Kageyama.   Sōkihei M.D. Geist Special Edition That’s M.D., short for “Most Dangerous”!! Several hundred years after the end of the Christian Era. Humanity has advanced into space, spreading the seeds of its culture to the multitude of star systems. That act alone should have made for a dazzling future for humanity. However, as was characteristic in the history of earth, the flames of war were not extinct in any star system.
