Sokihei M.D. Geist: Story
The “Armoured Demon Soldier” M.D. Geist, who they say as a mere man is equal to one army. He, the most dangerous man, was imprisoned onboard an artificial satellite that orbited the planet Jerra. As a result of the effects of the war that happened on Jerra, the satellite fell to the ground. As he awoke once again, he found himself in the hellish fiery war. The blood in his body began to course.
Inside a city that has become a ghost town, its biker gangs swarm a fleeing soldier. As Geist stands before the biker gang and the soldier they have killed, he goes one-to-one with their boss. He ends it as fast as lightning. As their boss is killed, all of the bikers set their sights on Geist, but they are stopped by Paia, the mistress of the boss. Paia knows they don’t stand a chance, and tries to seduce Geist, but he shows he has no interest in this. His purpose is solely on the battlefield.
The following day, Geist, who has taken the helm as the leader of the biker gang, discovers the land battleship Noah Guards under pursuit by the remaining enemy forces. Entering the battle, he wipes out the enemies of the Noah Guards with his unbelievable abilities. “Our saviour!”, he is hailed by the soldiers as a hero, however Colonel Crutes, the captain of the Noah Guards, turns pale as he sees the mark of identity on him. “M.D.S….”, for those in the army, that held the meaning of being more terrifying than the devil. For Crutes in particular, he was one of the people responsible for Geist’s imprisonment on the satellite.
Perhaps because of Paia’s business talents, Geist is hired as a mercenary for the Noah Guards. The mission of the Noah Guards is to stop Program “D”. Program “D”: in the event of the Jerra Regular Army’s destruction, Billion Buster machines will activate, and all lifeforms will be indiscriminately attacked in a retaliatory system against the whole planet. Colonel Crutes plots a strategy to stop the computer at the centre in an attack on the Brain Palace. To break through the self-defences, he utilises Geist. And if he’s lucky, he plans to erase Geist along with the whole system.
Equipped in the battle suit “FITEX”, Geist, Crutes, and his soldiers, are awaited by a system of iron defences as they storm the Brain Palace. In the middle of the battle, Crutes leads Geist to the domain where the dreaded Terminator-robot is waiting, while he continues on to stop Program D.
Armoured Demon Soldier VS Terminator in a shocking clash! The Terminator-robot rises from being knocked down and gradually wounds Geist. Within the underground great hall of the Brain Palace, an intense battle unfolds. With its facade stripped away, the Terminator reveals its true form at last. Will Geist be able to defeat the Terminator? As Crutes’ hand touches the lever to cut off Program D, Geist’s power hits its peak.
FIBRE-TEX (FITEX) EXPLAINED
Fibre-Tex Suit: The fibrous armour uniform
Fundamentally, FITEX is a combat uniform composed of special armour and soft material, however, it was developed to reinforce the human body’s joints during physical activity.
It was designed to enhance a soldier’s physical abilities, and to overcome various high-speed manoeuvrable weapons, with a drive system that incorporates a unique mechanism for activation.
Interlocking with the direction of the soldier’s active muscles, it relieves the pressure resistance, load and shock from external sources, and invokes a performance increase up to 3-4 times during activation.
However, because its requirements for utilisation were difficult, and although it was developed for the Jerra Regular Army, it was said to be “decorative”, in which it was fielded to a mere 10 battles during the war.
The weight of the FITEX itself was nearly 30kg, not including the soldier’s overall weight and armaments, and when included not every soldier could bear it.
In addition, soldiers who were unable to maintain pace with the physical performance of using the FITEX would be swung around by the suit itself, and left incapacitated and unable to fight.
Furthermore, the defensive capabilities of the FITEX were extremely low as it prioritised high speed and mobility during battle, which made it an easy target for enemy forces unless on battlefields with specific conditions.
Thus, when this so-called “decorative” suit came into the limelight, ironically it was on the battlefield after the use of nuclear weapons.
In a war where most of the manned forces of both armies were destroyed, and the use of unmanned mobile weapons had increased 75%, intel was scrambled, soldiers lost morale and the discipline of the army was collapsing.
Within this, soldiers who mastered the use of the FITEX demonstrated their ability through guerrilla-style tactics, which established the power of the suit, and made them reliable heroes of the demoralised soldiers, in which the remaining splintered forces could be led. Like Colonel Crutes in this story, a guerrilla army utilising the FITEX was formed.
